Privacy Policy

The App does not send your step counts, your pets and their names, your collection, your daily goal, or your settings to the Developer’s servers. This data is stored on your iPhone (and shared only with the App’s widget on the same device). The Developer does not view or collect it, and does not provide it to third parties. Deleting the App from your iPhone also deletes this data. Backups are made by standard iOS features such as iCloud Backup under your own control, and the Developer has no access to their contents.

The App does handle some information needed to provide and improve the service, such as anonymous usage and crash data. See Sections 2 and 5 for details.

• Step count (Apple Health): With your permission, the App reads your daily step count from Apple Health (HealthKit) to grow your pet. It reads only step count and never writes to Apple Health.
• Motion & Fitness: With your permission, the App uses your iPhone’s motion data to show your steps live on the walk screen.
• This data is processed and stored only on your device. It is never sent outside the device, never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties, and never sold.
• You can turn off this access at any time in the Settings app. The App will keep working, but your steps won’t be counted.

Reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. The App does not use a push notification service.

• After some use, the App may ask you for a review using Apple’s standard review prompt.
• If you share a picture of your pet, the image is passed through the iOS share sheet to the app or service you choose. Nothing is shared unless you do so.

As described above, the App does not send your step counts, pets, or other game data outside your device. The App currently communicates externally only in the following case:

• Understanding how the App is used and fixing problems (Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics). The App sends information such as which screens were opened (for example, how far you got through the first-time setup), the date you started using the App, crash reports, device model, OS version, app version, country or region, and an identifier assigned to the App installation. This information is not linked to your name or email address, and does not include your step counts or game data. The App does not track you for advertising and does not show ads. It does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA).

The App does not collect information that identifies individuals, such as names or email addresses. Even if a child uses the App, the Developer does not obtain personal information that could identify the child.

The App does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name or email address. Your step counts and game data are all on your device and under your control. To delete them, delete the App from your iPhone.

Usage and crash information handled by Firebase is linked only to anonymous IDs, and the Developer cannot identify a specific individual from it. If you would like this information deleted, please contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond as far as possible.

With respect to data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Developer does not sell your information and does not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

The Developer may change this Policy as needed. If we make important changes to the information collected, we will notify you in the App or on the App Store. The revised Policy takes effect when it is posted on this page. The Developer will never collect your step counts or game data contrary to this Policy.

This Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
